Who are we

Hello,

We are Bill & Darlene Karcz, we are originally from the south Chicago suburbs of Joliet.   In 1997 we decided to move to the beautiful town of Hartville Missouri to pursue a love of the rural lifestyle.  At that time we decided to raise horses, goats, and cats for a living.

The cats are the most relaxing part of our ranch, although they are quite a bit of work.  When we decided to raise cats, we searched for some interesting and unique breeds.  After several months of research and planning we were lucky enough to locate some high quality breeding stock.   Our reasons for selecting these breeds are stated on the pages listed above.

Please enjoy the pictures, we will try and keep the site as current as possible.  Many of our kittens are already "loving companions", but we have more on the way.

Thanks for visiting,

Bill & Darlene

Why buy from us

That is a good question!   We are professional Cat Breeders with one goal "quality pets”. We are licensed by the state of Missouri and the Federal government, our facility must be open and ready for inspection at all times, with no advance warning.  They look at the health of all animals, cleanliness (no dirty cat boxes, clean floors, no cob webs, no flies or other insect or vermin (mice) presence) food storage and freshness, water supply, vet records, kitten dispositions forms, (to insure all Manx, Abyssinian and Bengal Kittens are handled properly), expiration dates on all medications.  It may seam like a lot of stuff to deal with, but we feel it is worth it.  The standards are in place to insure the health and well being of our animals.  As Cat Breeders, we take great pride in our professionally run and state of the art cattery.

We also, like most people, handle and play with our Manx, Abyssinian and Bengal Kittens daily.  Not only is it our most enjoyable activity in our day, it is also important for the kittens to be used to people.  Don’t worry; we never leave out our Queens and Toms.  They both get plenty of attention and won’t go away until they have had their head scratched.

The thing that separates us from the backyard Cat Breeder is the quality of the cats environment, you can imagine the mess 3 breeding females and one Breeding male can make in a home. Anyone with 3 or less intact female is not required to meet any standard of good animal husbandry. There are many home Cat Breeders who do a good job and have wonderful Manx, Abyssinian and Bengal Kittens For Sale, but how do you tell the good from the bad. With us you know our license is on the line at all times

Many of our kittens are already loving companions, and family members.  If you are considering adding a pet to your family, we would love to help you out.  If you don’t see any pictures you like, check back again.  We are always updating our pictures, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Thanks

Bill & Darlene

Our Cattery

As you browse though our pictures you will see small portions of our cattery.  We are very proud of our facility; a lot of time and effort went into the planning and construction.  We have made every effort to provide a clean and comfortable living area for our animals.

Our cattery is air conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter; we try to keep a constant temperature year round.  We have over 300 cubic feet of living space on the inside and over 70 cubic feet of external cat run space.  They are free to stay inside or step outside to enjoy a nice summer day.
